I wanted to smooth out the ripples on the water so I mounted a
Marumi variable neutral density filter and set it to its maximum (around 8 stops). At 30 seconds the whole surface becomes milky smooth.

The sky turns deep blue towards the end of dusk turning even a drabby sky gorgeous. There's a ghost at the bottom center of the frame. The guy must've been walking pretty briskly given the 0.6sec exposure.
